简介: 西班牙著名弗拉明戈吉他手，20世纪以来弗拉明戈界的重要人物之一，以出色的演奏技巧及多产闻名，故亦被称为“弗拉明戈吉他之神”。于1968-1977年间，他与传奇弗拉明戈歌手卡马隆·德·拉·伊斯拉合作的10张经典唱片，被认为是弗拉明戈史上最为强劲之组合。从1979年后，他又与其他两位爵士吉他大师 John McLaughlin 和 Al di Meola 组成被认为历史上最好的的吉他三重奏 (The Guitar Trio)，三人共发行了数张融合各种音乐风格的唱片，当中以1981年发行的Friday Night in San Francisco最为人所熟识。 此外他还是著名弗拉明戈歌者Pepe de Lucia的弟弟，以及著名拉丁流行歌手玛露的叔叔。 2014年2月25日，他因心脏病发，于墨西哥金塔纳罗奥州普拉亚德尔卡曼逝世。
